Posts my wife rang in to her area office to state that there was no way she could get our car out of our street due to the depth of snow and none of the surrounding streets being gritted, but that she was willing to trek down to the nearest main road that was cleared to catch a bus in to her place of work. also she mentioned that she would have to leave earlier as the last bus on her route was at 17:23, which was cleared by the area office.Then at 17:00 her office manager (who was on his day off) telephoned saying that she would have to stay until 19:40 then catch a bus to a town 12 miles in the wrong direction then catch another link to our town which is a further 28 mile journey, due to the adverse weather conditions and the possibility of this link not running, my wife acted on the first agreement with her area office and caught the 17:23 bus and then still had a walk of over an hour (due to the conditions) to get home.she feels that she was subsequently bullied by her office manager (who wasn't even in work), does anyone know where she stands. thank you in advance

Feedback Good or Bad???: Bad Boss Why?: The area manager had agreed with the course of action. If her direct manager had good ause to overturn it, then fine, but it seems he was being unreasonable, given the circusmtances. Dealing with issues in the current weather is tricky, but it is a case of using common sense. Overall, I think she was acting sensibly and with permission in doing what she did. If she is being bullied and harrassed then she should onsider raising a grievance. J
